Since the days of the "Back Roads"
Growing up living on the water.
Remson Meadows along the Manahawkin Bayfront was trasformed into Beach Haven West during the 1950's. What was once salt marshes at the Jersey Shore, the Shapiro brothers, Herbert and Jerome, purchased and developed the land into vacation homes. With over 100 plus man-made lagoons and 5,000 homes the location became a boaters paradise.
The Beach Haven West Life was created in 2016 by a local who has lived in Beach Haven West since before the land was fully development.
Inspired by memories of exploring our area in small Jon Boats, clamming in the bay and the countless hours of youthful fun times in what we called "The Back Roads", we launched our local brand.
We're representing the style of life that most never experience, a unique one with deep roots into our very special waterfront community.
Whether it’s boating, fishing, kayaking or simply enjoying the day on a tube in the lagoon, regardless if you live here year round or seasonally, when the sun rises we all have one thing in common ... life is better when we're on the water.
